This Monastery was established to Promote the Greater Honor and Glory of God, by the promotion and defense of the Catholic faith and the salvation of souls. The Monastery seeks to work out these ends, by following the Carmelite Rule, and by the profession of the True Catholic Faith.

Our Priest, Father Anthony Marie Short was ordained in the Traditional Rite of Ordination in 2014 by a valid Bishop.  The Monastery only offers the Traditional Latin Rite Mass of 1945 [St. Andrew's Missal].

 

We seek to honor Almighty God, first by our life of devotion to Mary, the Mother of God, the Rosary, the Scapular and other prayer, penance and adhering to the faith whole and uncorrupted, which is also our chief means of working for the salvation of souls.

36. When the Holy Ghost, her Spouse, has found Mary in a soul, He flies there. He enters there in His fulness; He communicates Himself to that soul abundantly, and to the full extent to which she makes room for her Spouse. Nay, one of the great reasons why the Holy Ghost does not now do startling wonders in our souls is because He does not find there a sufficiently great union with His faithful and indissoluble Spouse. I say indissoluble Spouse, because since that Substantial Love of the Father and the Son has espoused Mary, in order to produce Jesus Christ, the Head of the elect, and Jesus Christ in the elect, He has never repudiated her, inasmuch as she has always been fruitful and faithful.

It was in the early 1800's that the Catholic church was battling religious indifferentism that was raging within its walls which got progressively worse as time went on.

13. Of course this error is not new, but in Our days it rages with a new rashness against the constancy and integrity of the Catholic faith. Eusebius cites Rhodo as his source for saying that the heretic Apelles in the second century had already produced the mad theory that faith should not be investigated, but that each man should persevere in the faith he was raised in.[11] Even those who put faith in a crucified man were to be saved, according to Apelles, provided that they engaged in good works.  Rhetorius too, as We learn from St. Augustine, used to claim that all the heretics walked on the right road and spoke truth. But Augustine adds that this is such nonsense that he cannot believe it.[12] The current indifferentism has developed to the point of arguing that everyone is on the right road. …

10.  …To use the words of the fathers of Trent, it is certain that the Church “was instructed by Jesus Christ and His Apostles and that all truth was daily taught it by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.”[12] Therefore, it is obviously absurd and injurious to propose a certain “restoration and regeneration” for her as though necessary for her safety and growth, as if she could be considered subject to defect or obscuration or other misfortune. Indeed these authors of novelties consider that a “foundation may be laid of a new human institution,” and what Cyprian detested may come to pass, that what was a divine thing “may become a human church.”[13]

   15. Also perverse is the shocking theory that it makes no difference to which religion one belongs, a theory which is greatly at variance even with reason. By means of this theory, those crafty men remove all distinction between virtue and vice, truth and error, honorable and vile action. They pretend that men can gain eternal salvation by the practice of any religion, as if there could ever be any sharing between justice and iniquity, any collaboration between light and darkness, or any agreement between Christ and Belial.

The beginnings of the apostasy at that time was bad enough that God sent Mary, the Mother of God to La Salette France in 1846 to warn that Rome would lose the faith and become the seat of the antichrist, the church would be in eclipse.  

 

As we know it today, with much subsequent evidence  revealed, this warning in 1846 implied that if things did not change, God was going to hand over Rome, St. Peter's Basilica and the buildings around the world to freemasons, the arch-enemy of the Catholic church as the supreme punishment of God against the Catholic church for its embrace of religious indifferentism.  Freemasonry is the epitome of religious indifferentism.  The Catholic church will be reduced to a tiny remnant, those who hold the faith whole and uncorrupted.

 

God did this same thing to the children of Israel, who also embraced religious indifferentism in Jeremias time, for which He handed over Jerusalem and Solomon's Temple to the pagan king, King Nebuchadnezzar.  

 

In fact, God warned Solomon at the completion of Solomon's Temple.  

 

He promised that there would always be a leader on the Throne of David but warned that if the People revolted from God, He would cast out the Temple and the people from the land of Jerusalem.  And the leader on the Throne of David would be removed and killed.  Sedecias and Joachin, kings of Juda died in captivity.

2 Paralipomenon 7:16-20 For I have chosen, and have sanctified this place, that my name may be there for ever, and my eyes and my heart may remain there perpetually. And as for thee, if thou walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and keep my justices and my judgments: I will raise up the throne of thy kingdom, as I promised to David thy father, saying: There shall not fail thee a man of thy stock to be ruler in Israel. But if you turn away, and forsake my justices, and my commandments which I have set before you, and shall go and serve strange gods, and adore them, I will pluck you up by the root out of my land which I have given you: and this house which I have sanctified to my name, I will cast away from before my face, and will make it a byword, and an example among all nations.

Go ye to my place in Silo, where my name dwelt from the beginning: and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.  And now, because you have done all these works, saith the Lord: and I have spoken to you rising up early, and speaking, and you have not heard: and I have called you, and you have not answered: I will do to this house, in which my name is called upon, and in which you trust, and to the places which I have given you and your fathers, as I did to Silo. And I will cast you away from before my face, as I have cast away all your brethren, the whole seed of Ephraim.

 

Jeremias 52:24-27  And the general took Saraias the chief priest, and Sophonias the second priest, and the three keepers of the entry. ...And the king of Babylon struck them, and put them to death in Reblatha, in the land of Emath: and Juda was carried away captive out of his land.

Solomon's Temple and the Old Testament priesthood was a foreshadow of St. Peter's Basilica and the New Testament priesthood.

Erected to the one true God as a tabernacle of the divine Majesty upon earth, it was also a sublime poem sung to that sacrifice and that priesthood, which, though type and symbol… Yet that ancient priesthood derived its greatest majesty and glory from being a foretype of the Christian priesthood; the priesthood of the New and eternal Covenant sealed with the Blood of the Redeemer of the world, Jesus Christ, true God and true Man.

30. …On the first of December such a great number of them came to the Basilica of St. Peter’s for the jubilee indulgence that We have probably never seen that great temple so crowded.

And so, God having tried thru various warnings to bring back the apostate "Catholics" e.g. two World Wars, the miracle of the Sun etc but to no avail, God gave the apostate "Catholics" what they wanted.  He handed over Rome, St. Peter's Basilica and the buildings around the world to like minded freemasons, such as themselves, steeped in religious indifferentism.

Jude 1:4 For certain men are secretly entered in, (who were written of long ago unto this judgment,) ungodly men, turning the grace of our Lord God into riotousness, and denying the only sovereign Ruler, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Not only is the great spiritual deception [Matthew 24:24] wrapped up in the like mindedness in the freemasonic leaders given by God with the apostate "Catholics" [birds of a feather flock together] but also that the freemasons disguised in catholic robes, in using the buildings, they established their own false priesthood, false sacraments, false altar and a false Mass, along with the multiplications of a false leader [antipope] seemingly in the chair of St. Peter through the appearance of an ecumenical Council but in reality a false robber council "Second Vatican Council".

Jeremias 6:19  Hear, O earth: Behold I will bring evils upon this people, the fruits of their own thoughts: because they have not heard my words, and they have cast away my law.

The devil will always ape God's church.  There seems to be a cryptic prophecy in the book of Esther that describes this event.

​

Esther 14:6-10 We have sinned in thy sight, and therefore thou hast delivered us into the hands of our enemies: For we have worshipped their gods. Thou art just, O Lord. And now they are not content to oppress us with most hard bondage, but attributing the strength of their hands to the power of their idols, They design to change thy promises, and destroy thy inheritance, and shut the mouths of them that praise thee, and extinguish the glory of thy temple and altar, That they may open the mouths of Gentiles, and praise the strength of idols, and {magnify} for ever a carnal king.

And so, once the robber Council closed in 1965 and the Vatican II sect was established, they openly showed their idolatry by promoting peace through the promotion of religious indifferentism with all the false religions of the world.

​

In fact, just before the false Council closed, antipope Paul VI on October 4, 1965 addressed the "United Nations" echoing antipope John XXIII's "Pacem in Terris", cryptically speaking about a human church without God.

...It is enough to recall that the blood of millions, countless unheard-of sufferings, useless massacres and frightening ruins have sanctioned the agreement that unites you with an oath that ought to change the future history of the world: never again war, never again war! It is peace, peace, that has to guide the destiny of the nations of all mankind! 

 

…This is the finest aspect of the United Nations Organization, its very genuine human side. This is the ideal that mankind dreams of during its pilgrimage through time; this is the greatest hope of the world. We would even venture to say that it is the reflection of the plan of God - a transcendent plan full of love - for the progress of human society on earth, a reflection in which we can see the Gospel message turning from something heavenly to something earthly. Here we seem to hear an echo of the voice of our predecessors, and especially of "Pope" John XXIII, whose message in Pacem in Terris met with such an honored and significant response among you.

Romans 1:23 And they changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of the image of a corruptible man, and of birds, and of fourfooted beasts, and of creeping things.

The parallels between the children of Israel in the time of Jeremias and the Catholic church leading up to the great apostasy are astounding.

​

Jeremias 6:14-15 And they healed the breach of the daughter of my people disgracefully, saying: Peace, peace: and there was no peace.  They were confounded, because they committed abomination: yea, rather they were not confounded with confusion, and they knew not how to blush: wherefore they shall fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall fall down, saith the Lord.

Wherefore, all the members of the Carmel of the Immaculate Heart of Mary  rejects the Vatican II sect, its antipopes and all its heresies, new and old such as "baptism of desire".  

Pope Paul III infallibly defined at the Council of Trent Session 6 that "desire" is a disposition not a cause of First Justification.  A condemned man in Original sin cannot be his own propitiator to God the Father.  Jesus is the propitiator, by His work of charity on the holy cross in baptism.

Proverbs 13:12, 19 Hope that is deferred afflicteth the soul: desire when it cometh is a tree of life. ...The desire that is accomplished, delighteth the soul:

6.  Now they (adults) are disposed unto the said justice, when, excited and assisted by divine grace, conceiving faith by hearing, they are freely moved towards God, believing those things to be true which God has revealed and promised,-and this especially, that God justifies the impious by His grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus; and when, understanding themselves to be sinners, they, by turning themselves, from the fear of divine justice whereby they are profitably agitated, to consider the mercy of God, are raised unto {hope}... Concerning this disposition it is written; He that cometh to God, must believe that he is, and is a rewarder to them that seek him; and, Be of good faith, son, thy sins are forgiven thee; and, The fear of the Lord driveth out sin; and, Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins...

7.  This disposition, or preparation, is followed by Justification itself, which is not remission of sins merely, but also the sanctification and renewal of the inward man, through the voluntary reception of the grace, and of the gifts, whereby man of unjust becomes just ...Of this Justification the causes are these: ...while the efficient cause is a merciful God who washes and sanctifies gratuitously, signing, and anointing with the holy Spirit of promise... but the meritorious cause is His most beloved only-begotten, our Lord Jesus Christ, who, when we were enemies, for the exceeding {charity} wherewith he loved us, merited Justification for us by His most holy Passion on the wood of the cross, and made satisfaction for us unto God the Father; the instrumental cause is the sacrament of baptism, which is the sacrament of faith, without which (faith) no man was ever justified; ... For faith, unless hope and charity be added thereto, neither unites man perfectly with Christ, nor makes him a living member of His body. For which reason it is most truly said, that Faith without works is dead and profitless; and, In Christ Jesus neither circumcision, availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith which worketh by charity. This faith, Catechumen’s beg of the Church-agreeably to a tradition of the apostles-previously to the sacrament of Baptism; when they beg for the faith which bestows life everlasting, which, without hope and charity, faith cannot bestow:

Colossians 2:11-12 In whom also you are circumcised with circumcision not made by hand, in despoiling of the body of the flesh, but in the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, in whom also you are risen again by the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him up from the dead.

We reject the heresy of "Baptism of blood". 

 

Pope Eugene IV at the Council of Florence infallibly defined that an unbaptized person who dies for the name of Jesus Christ cannot go to heaven.  Without entering the Catholic church through water baptism, no one is saved.

It firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the catholic church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the catholic church before the end of their lives; ...and that nobody can be saved, ...even if he has shed his blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and the unity of the catholic church.

We reject the heresy of Invincible Ignorance. 

 

Invincible ignorance by itself does not save anyone.  Pope Pius IX was explaining that a goodwilled person ignorant of God but acting upon the natural law written on their hearts could be called by the Holy Ghost and given First Justification in his lifetime not after he dies!  The goodwilled person must obey and assent to the faith calling of the Holy Ghost.

7. Here, too, our beloved sons and venerable brothers, it is again necessary to mention and censure a very grave error entrapping some Catholics who believe that it is possible to arrive at eternal salvation although living in error and alienated from the true faith and Catholic unity. Such belief is certainly opposed to Catholic teaching. There are, of course, those who are struggling with invincible ignorance about our most holy religion. Sincerely observing the natural law and its precepts inscribed by God on all hearts and ready to obey God, they live honest lives and are able to attain eternal life by the efficacious virtue of divine light and grace. Because God knows, searches and clearly understands the minds, hearts, thoughts, and nature of all, his supreme kindness and clemency do not permit anyone at all who is not guilty of deliberate sin to suffer eternal punishments.

8. Also well known is the Catholic teaching that no one can be saved outside the Catholic Church. Eternal salvation cannot be obtained by those who oppose the authority and statements of the same Church and are stubbornly separated from the unity of the Church and also from the successor of Peter, the Roman Pontiff, to whom “the custody of the vineyard has been committed by the Savior.”[4]

Romans 2:14-15 For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature those things that are of the law; these having not the law are a law to themselves: Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them, and their thoughts between themselves accusing, or also defending one another,

Romans 6:16-18 Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are whom you obey, whether it be of sin unto death, or of obedience unto justice. But thanks be to God, that you were the servants of sin, but have obeyed from the heart, unto that form of doctrine, into which you have been delivered. Being then freed from sin, we have been made servants of justice.

We reject all forms of "birth control" including "Natural Family Planning".  "Birth control" shuts out God, leaving the married couple to abuse each others bodies to the exclusion of children.

53. And now, Venerable Brethren, we shall explain in detail the evils opposed to each of the benefits of matrimony. First consideration is due to the offspring, which many have the boldness to call the disagreeable burden of matrimony and which they say is to be carefully avoided by married people not through virtuous continence (which Christian law permits in matrimony when both parties consent) {e.g. Mary and Joseph} but by frustrating the marriage act. Some justify this criminal abuse on the ground that they are weary of children and wish to gratify their desires without their consequent burden. Others say that they cannot on the one hand remain continent nor on the other can they have children because of the difficulties whether on the part of the mother or on the part of family circumstances.

 

54. But no reason, however grave, may be put forward by which anything intrinsically against nature may become conformable to nature and morally good. Since, therefore, the conjugal act is destined primarily by nature for the begetting of children, those who in exercising it deliberately frustrate its natural power and purpose sin against nature and commit a deed which is shameful and intrinsically vicious.

 

55. Small wonder, therefore, if Holy Writ bears witness that the Divine Majesty regards with greatest detestation this horrible crime and at times has punished it with death. As St. Augustine notes, “Intercourse even with one’s legitimate wife is unlawful and wicked where the conception of the offspring is prevented. Onan, the son of Juda, did this and the Lord killed him for it.”[45]

Genesis 38:8-10  Juda, therefore said to Onan his son: Go in to thy brother's wife and marry her, that thou mayst raise seed to thy brother. He knowing that the children should not be his, when he went in to his brother's wife, spilled his seed upon the ground, lest children should be born in his brother's name. And therefore the Lord slew him, because he did a detestable thing.

The holy Synod enjoins on all bishops, and others who sustain the office and charge of teaching, that, agreeably to the usage of the Catholic and Apostolic Church, received from the primitive times of the Christian religion, and agreeably to the consent of the holy Fathers, and to the decrees of sacred Councils, they especially instruct the faithful diligently concerning the intercession and invocation of saints; the honour (paid) to relics; and the legitimate use of images: teaching them, that the saints, who reign together with Christ, offer up their own prayers to God for men; that it is good and useful suppliantly to invoke them, and to have recourse to their prayers, aid, (and) help for obtaining benefits from God, through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our alone Redeemer and Saviour;

Mary, the Mother of God acknowledges herself that she needed to be saved by Jesus, who alone saved her and the whole world.

Luke 1:46-47 And Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord. And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

 

​ We believe that Benedict XVI was the false prophet and that John Paul II was the antichrist spoken of in the scriptures.
